I'd hate to be the one in charge of keeping it clean. :blah:

That is an interesting piece of art. Do you know how it was made and what material was used?

Great photo's. I like the new fish eye lens.

Nevermind...I found the answer. http://www.millenniumpark.org/artand...loud_gate.html

Thanks 3RDI Creations! :-) Wish I was able to take my new fish eye lens around :G:sad:

I found some info on the artwork. "The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates..."

Oh, do visit there again, Chris! Some late afternoon or night shots could also be interesting I suppose..

And here's a link displaying the building progress

We were supposed to go back that day but ran out of time  Actually we were very sleepy. We both had about 3 hours sleep since Wed night. Our flight was Friday morning at 6am. I'd love to go back for some night photography :-)

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

Here's a shot I took around 4-5:00pm.

One last bean photo :G I was messing with the polarizer which made the sky very dark on the Cloud Gate. Kind of cool I think
