Took some shots of the Smithsonian station this past Labor Day weekend.

This is right in my hometown but I have never seen it in this light... Great shot!

Wow! Impressed by the concrete work especially on the vault, which reminds me of the grandeur of Rome!!

Chris,

These are wonderful shots! There was one other poster on the Pentax forum that had a couple of images of the DC Metro also. With the architecture and especially the ceiling vault with the lighting, I would think that this would be a much more photographed location.

Great wide perspective that captures the staion well. I'm with NHL--it would be nice if the stationis were actually light up as nice as your image shows:-) You've made amazing use of the aviailable light. I see you shoot Canon..what lens?
