Default Wild Fire Escape revisited

The lighting was so good on this so I shot it once again. this time with my Nikon D70 and a 70-300mm lens. I would love to visit this apt and see just what this is.

Lovely shot, it might be an apartment for retired bungee jumpers or a sky divers annual convention location . or maybe a voluntary euthanasia societies headquarters .lol

Im curious where you shot this from. Also what lens. Im sure with enough patience and a longer lens you should be able to identify the occupant(s) and recognize them. Is that Jimmy Hoffa I see? No, it couldnt be. hahahaha
Seriously a three floor penthouse apartment is not to be sneezed at. A few million for that one.

I shot it about a mile away from my terrace with a 70-300 lens. I have used 400mm on it and a 500 mirror lens but this is the clearest so far. I, too, would love to see inside.

I think this is where you want to get the telescope out and get right in there. Any idea what the address of that place is?

The board of the National Fire Protection Association would have a collective heart attack if they saw that (highly illegal) fire escape.

Guess if you have money, zoning means nothing.

It is SW of us. We have tried by driving around and have no intention of walking around there to find it. If you are ever in san Francisco, you can try. it is omewhere near city hall.

Hi Caryl,

That is wild! It would surely take a serious fire to get me out on that thing. I'm kind of curious to see if I can find it, so was wondering if you'd consider posting a wider angle showing it relative to City Hall or some other landmark.
