Default Midtown. Old building designs

I was in midtown yesterday and chanced across this building. It's apparently owned by NYC.(?)

It's about four stories high.

At any rate, I was in a big hurry, and just took a few quick shots. If anyone wants to "get into this building," it's located at 37 West 44 Street, which is between Fifth and Sixth Ave.

Eeewwww they just dont make buildings like that any more. Might be nice to shoot it early Sunday morning when the cars arent around. And I wonder how it looks lit up at nite.

My pictures Do Not do this structure justice. And it seems a bit off the way. I doubt if it's part of the normal photographers tour. It has these huge windows, perhaps thirty feet high, and you bet, probably fantastic when lit.

Sunday morning? Sunday evening? Yeah, certainly better than during a busy NYC day.

I just mentioned this to a friend of mine. It's not a building owned by New York CIty, it's the New York City Yacht Club. She tells me the interior is beyond belief, having eaten dinner there. But according to her, these extrememy wealthy people, don't let visitors in, unless specifically invited by and with a member.
