Default Not sure if this is the right place for this...

I set out to photograph the USS New York yesterday. Here's how it went...

USS Intrepid and USS New York

Thanks for looking!
Chris

Super. Thanks for sharing. I actually spent some time looking through photos of this ship over the weekend. To me, this ship's design is very interesting (enclosed masts, etc.). It's look is very different compared to most ships when I was in the Navy some years back.

Thanks Jim! I agree, it's a very interesting ship! Reminds me of the stealth fighters. I would have loved to get on board but I don't think they had tours yesterday. I also read somewhere they do NOT allow large bags, there goes my camera bag

Wow! That's an impressive ship, and you nailed the shot.

Youre lucky you werent caught, thrown in the brig and questioned for hours why you were taking pictures. Its almost as bad shooting a ship as it is a little girl.

Chris,

Sure, it's the right place, but we don't want them around the European coasts. There are no enemies from the east and we can defend ourselves.

Is it a stealth construction? Seems that way to me anyhow; hard to discover for most radar systems
