Default Castle at Universal Studios

We took a family vacation to Universal Studios in Florida last week. I usually do not shoot buildings but got a shot of Hogwart's Castle - part of the new Harry Potter attraction opening in June. Then I tried to add a little of the Universal Classic Horror Movie feel to it and I like it okay. What do you think?

Before...

After...

I'm trying to work out how big this place is, I just can't figure if it is large or pretty small, or model size (but the tree ruins that option).

Not sure the background works, but a thing to try..... how about some lightning etc?

Thanks Mark.

You know I had the same thought about the size. I don't know what scale it is. It is up on a hill and it larger that most houses and even churches but it is not full size.

I like the idea of adding lightning - I am nit sure just how at this point but maybe I can work on that. I had thought about making the walls red (like blood - House of Usher type stuff) but decided I didn't like that.

Mark,

I did a search and found a little info on usatoday.com

Quote:
The centerpiece is Hogwarts castle, rising more than 150 feet and visible from beyond park boundaries. It houses Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, a "dark ride" that uses robotic arms to move passengers in various ways as they pass through scenes from the movies, says Robert Niles of industry tracker ThemeParkInsider.com.
more info at... http://www.usatoday.com/travel/wizar...obref=obinsite

It sounds really neat. Wish it had been completed when we were there.
