It's a redoubt, a kind of fortification. There are two of them in Gothenburg, Redoubt Lion and Redoubt Crown. I'll post more pictures. You may notice the very thick walls

Didn't clone out the Vespa - for comparizon. It's huge - looks smaller because I did some heavy perspective correction

Nice capture, Torgny. I'm guessing here, but would one of these redoubts have been refuge for nobility during possible attack?
