That architecture. The most lovely shapes of houses and detail work.
Looks like an ideal place to gather your minds and create. It feels as if it's ideas that come from the chimney, "infecting" the city with great minds.

Acapulco,

Inspired by the 1890ies. You've got the sensitivity. I did another crop and a black and white conversion. I'll give it another try

Frank,

Great sensitivity. I like those poetry lines of yours. You'd like a film "Sult" - based upon a book by the Norwegian author Knut Hamsun

Tried my best to improve. Wether the cone of inspiration goes from the chimney and upwards or the other way around remains to be told Noticed the cone shape sky. Should have pressed the shutter more than once

Hey my friend, in Kansas where I live, when we see a cone in the sky we usually run for the basement as we are in the middle of tornado alley, and usually are in for some really unhealthy weather.

I do like the way the cone seems to fall right in the most convienent place over the chimney!! well done!!!! Frank

Oh almost forgot, I did check out the review of Sult, the story of the starving poet. I will have to see it. Does it come in a book? I like books better than film as it tends to release my imagination more.. Frank

Frank,

Once upon a time I bought a book on Meteorology. Haven't had time to read it yet. Heard there are people in the US who have devoted their lives to tornados

Agree on your view on books and films but this is a very special film. Book first - then film. Yes, there is a translation of "Sult". The main character Per Oscarsson just died in a fire accident
