The pictures are optimized for slideshows. The slideshow button is at the upper right. Please use your loudspeakers. There is some music, progressive music from the seventies in the different galleries.

I like the first one, although I was annoyed by it at first. Only when I quit trying to "see the church" and let myself see the color and individual details, did I enjoy it.

Interesting.

Interesting.

The Barbarian.

Thank you. Sitting by the PC. It's a do-it-yourself-as-a-viewer picture, a puzzle, a non-served plate. Got to put those lazy viewers at work

"I feel much better now when I have left hope", said Woody Allen. Perhaps we could feel better if we unlearn how to look at pictures, Nothing profound at all. Living on the surface is much easier.

At least something should be left for the reader, in case of literature; for the viewer, in case of photography. Preferably really heavy work.

I like #2, especially the composition and choice of time of day to shoot. Your composition has roughly 1/3 sky, 1/3 church and 1/3 earth. Don't know what you were intending, if anything, by that but to me is speaks of a church occupying a space between heaven and earth.

ItDontMeanAThing,

I like your interpretation. There was a movement in Latin America, liberation theology (Oscar Romero and others: jesuit priests), a socialist approach to the gospel (which of course is the only possible interpretation)

The liberation theologians would have much more than 1/3 earth and much less church and sky. Many of them got killed by - you can guess who did it - they posed a threat to the Empire

I could elaborate on this but it's not the right forum
