Default Circa 1912 Armoury and Courthouse

Aside from some private homes, these two circa-1912 buildings are among the oldest still in regular use in Vernon.

The Brigadier Murphy Armoury. During both World Wars, this was part of a huge Commonwealth Army training camp.

Thanks, Torgny. I think older buildings like these are special as well. Without even considering their history, these buildings have much more character and 'presence' than the modern cookie-cutter buildings you see just about everywhere these days. The Law Courts Building was actually built from locally-quarried marble and limestone, not brick.
