Default Feeling Blue

Saw this appartment block with blue shutters in Ciboure and had to take a shot as it is quite rare to see shutters this colour in the Paye Basque. All the houses are white with either green or red shutters as these three colours make up the Paye Basque flag. Please feel free to comment/advise.

Brilliant, Diane,

Perfect angles, perfect verticals, horisontals. It really should be that way: the viewer is "put in place" - can feel secure "in position"

Like those frame filling repetitive patterns with furthermore important small variations

Oftentimes I pass by something that looks nice but never thought of photographing. It's good you followed your photographer-instincts. Great shot. I think it would look well with matching white frame and mounted on the wall.
