Default Carcoke abandoned place.

Due to the ENORMOUS ammount of shots I made last week at carcoke I decided to make a special folder for it at www.doorhof.nl look for it in the online portfolio under abandoned places.

A few examples, much more there .

Hope you will visit my site .

Greetings,
Frank

That final photo is the one. It makes decay into a beautiful thing. Very well done.

I'm with Barbara on this one.
However, I think shot 1 and 2 could benefit from changing the sky color a little bit : it is contrasting too much with the other tones and does not add the appropriate mood.

I had a look at the building section of your site and I particularly liked the RuinDeurne5 shot :

These are really nice. I went to your web site and the only thing I didn't like was (and yes I know it would take more time, so this is nitpicking) was that I don't know what I'm looking at. I guess being a historian makes me want words with everything!!!

I did a mass upload so I have no comments on those shot's I will do that now...

The sky really was that blue and I don't really like changing that if you know what I mean

Greetings,
Frank

Great photos, but I like #1 the best.

Very nice series, Frank.

Too bad all that brick and metal could not be recycled and put to new uses.
