I took these two shots at the same time as I took this one of an old bridge

http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...amp;forum_id=8

The bridge and hallare a few metres apart and pretty old and run down, these photos are for a competition depicting the area which is a 10 minute drive from my house, the Kalgan is a river that runs through the area. Opinions welcome:-)

I like thesecond especially! The worn door and the posting lead me to wonder how many interesting people must have been through it over the years.

Hi Aladyforty,

Ab fabpix.

For me your treatment of the top one is particularly effective...with the dramaticwhite of the hall against the dark skies and looming trees.Even the grass ispretty dramatic! I thinkthe sepia colouringhere works very well too.

All good luck in the comp - if I were there I'd give you a rosette or two...

abw,

Canna.
