These were shot about 500 ft. above the bridge.

Nice clear shots but the color is off. The bridge is not red. It is orange. Looks like you boosted the saturation too much.

Here is a shot of the bridge from atop a hill just northeast of the bridge. The location is that flat area to the left of the upper right tower in your first picture.

Here is the original picture. As you can see, it's not so clear at all due to the hazy/foggy condition which is a common here in SF. I know it wasn't the best shot color wise, but I was happy to come away with something to share with others about the experience of circling just hundred of feets in the air over this magnificent structure.

You're right, the bridge color is more orange than red. I think the reddish tone is the side effect of the "level" adjustment when trying to take away the haziness.

Great shots from the air splash, the bridge is a muted color from memory, I love the 1st and the third shots, this bridge is SO beautifull.

some snaps I took did not have time to take serious shots

I love arial shots, and enjoyed these of the GG bridge very much indeed. Just gorgeous!

Thanks,
The bridge looks nice from an arial view but it seems a bit small and toyish. Boyzo's shots on the bridge w/traffics and all do bring out it's life and size.
