Took this shot which was originally a sandstone colour type of scheme. Light yellows and creams and what not. Anyway I played around with a few layers in PS with the lighting and turned it into a B&W. I don't have the original sorry, I forgot to save a backup. But I didn't take the pic to really have a colour image of it.

Looks like a successful conversion to me. Nice range of tonalities. Interesting lines - I especially like the shadows on the floor. Too bad you don't have the original too. Would it have made a successful monochromatic shot in sepia or gold or some such color?

thanks for the comments. I actually went digging and found the same pic but a second earlier in the photo shoot.

So now you have a comparison. Sorry about the difference in sizes.
