This is in the town where I work, Stone in Staffordshire. Many years ago Joules beer was famous throughout central England, sadly no more and the brewery is now derelict. It sits alongside the Trent and Mersey Canal where barges used to take the barrels of beer down into the industrial cities of the Midlands like Birmingham.

It's a sad picture, knowing the history. I don't quite know what to make of the boat. Does it make the building look more forloren, or would it be better without the boat?

I agree with Barbarian about the boat - feels a little attention grabbing to me as well. Other than that, a great shot I think. And a cool bit of history to go with it. Thanks for sharing it Shaun!
