hi all this is a shot of an old bridge i took a month ago, its the bridge over the river Avon stratford uk, i thought it looked good in b&w.

Well indeed, Alex..B&W is really a good decision for this shot. I can also say that trying to decide the right point of view for such occasions has always been tough. On one hand you intend to give a striking perspective through foreshortening while trying to preserve the significance of the details shape and the size, which you seem to have optimized! However, I think, by cropping a little from the top and bottom, more of the bridge detail could be observable. Btw, do you know how old that old bridge is?

hello bahadir yes looking at itnow i think it would look better cropped, you have a very good eye, the bridge i was told dates back to the16th century, but iam not certain not being from that part of the country. thank you for your reply.

Very nice. Have you tried cropping it yet? I'd like to see the result to compare it to this.
