Love this edifice as a wonder of Roman civil engineering, whose diameter of dome remained unsurpassed until Renaissance, for more than a thousand years! You certainly needed a super wide angle to cover the whole thing

To see it in real life was amazing! Too bad I wasn't into DSLR's then :-( I used my Sony Cybershot DSC-P5.
