I usually don't look in this section of Steve's forums, but a kind tip off has paid me well! :-)

Bahadir, lovely set of photos of a very interesting and important historical element... may we learn from such valuable items and let history be our teacher and friend!

I'm very curious now (if only we had real time travel!) really how the original looked in it's "full colour hey-day"!

Thanks for the as usual interesting, and appreciated history lessons along the way too, Bahadir!

Yeah, the day they invented time travelling, history will notremain a social science which can bear much talk!! but a 'genuine' applied science :G
