Hi,
Has anyone used this charger from Sanyo before? Is it comparable to the Maha C401FS?

I can't find detailed enough information on that charger to say for sure. But, it appears to be roughly comparable to either the Maha 401 or the Maha 204W -- I can't honestly tell which.

It looks like it has a separate charge circuit for each of four batteries, but that doesn't really jive with the claim for 2 hour charge for 1 or 2 batteries and 4 hour charge for 3 or 4 batteries. So I have some question about that. If you have found a website with an owners manual download or even a decent closeup picture, I might be able to be more specfic.

The only think I noticed is that it will only do two AAA batteries at a time. That would be a pain for me since I use NiMH AAAs in sets of four for my lighted universal TV remote controls.

In any case, I can't imagine that it isn't a good charger that works fine if it has the features you need.

Thanks HWC. I tried to locate a copy from the sanyo site but was not able to find one.
