The numbers seem to vary from review to review. With their different testing methods. But Image Resource did publish a CIPA scrore of 340 for the D200. Ken Rockwell says roughly 700 (includes viewing pics on the LCD and playing with the menus). What say you? D200/30D owners? Roughly how many shots do you get per charge?

I was shocked to see only a score of 340 shots per charge with the Nikon D200. Currently, I'm using a Sony DSC-H1 powered by 2 Powerex 2700 mAh AA batteries. And I get a little over 300 shots per charge. Keep in mind I have only charged these batteries once. With the charger provided from Sony. So these batteries aren't at full-capacity yet.

And I got roughly 305 shots shooting without the flash. But still a respectable number being that the batteries had only been charged once.
