Default coolpix L100 batteries

I just got a Coolpix L100 camera. The manual seems to indicate that only certain Nikon rechargeables can be used. The camera will accept NiMh batteries and I have a bunch from my previous camera. Can I use them in the L100?

Welcome to the Forum. We're glad you dropped by.

Nikon on is famous for pushing their own higher priced batteries. Yes, you can safely use the batteries of your choice.

Have a great day.
