Default Dps 9000/s

Hi,I'm new here and just bought only my 2nd camera ever,it is a Nikon L100.

I have been looking for external battery packs. I came across the DPS 9000 that seems perfect except it doesn't look to have the proper connector for the U-shaped AC port on the L100. I searched online for male connectors to fit the port but no luck. If I could find a plug I'm sure I or my little bro could wire it easily.

Any ideas to make it work? Any possible online sources for that type of plug? Any knowledge of similar packs that also use the tripod screw to attache to the camera?

((I believe I could purchase an AC power supply and remove the male plug to make one that could be transfered back n forth from the pack to the power supply but that just doesn't appeal. I also considered making a pack that fits on my wrist and plugs into the AC port but there again I need to find the male plug and it would be far better not to be tied to the camera via the AC port. I would much rather put some time/$$s into a higher capacity pack than to mess around with AAs.))

Thanks for your time
