This might be a weird question but who knows somebody hasn´t thought of this to.

I´m thinking of bying the Canon S60. Seams great to me. The only thing a might think of is that I couldn´t use normal AA batteries if I wanted to. I know the NB-2LHor rechargable AA NI-HB batteries lasts longer but what if you don´t have access to outlets and probably don´t want to buy many expensive recharable batteries/packs.

I would like to be able to use some how normal batteries. Is there a way?

Like a external battery pack, with wires into a fake NI-2LH shape "pack", a NI-2LH shape holder for AAA batteries.

Could I charge the NI-2LH with solar panels, car batteries, 12V DC?

Would it actually be OK for the cam to use 3AA batteries externally, just speaking of voltage, it wouldn´t damage the eletronics of the cam, would it?
