Hi - 505v owner here :-)
Has anyone investigated building a power pack for these pesky Sony digicams and their pesky, pesky, pesky batteries? I figure there's two ways to go: (1) Expensive, inefficient but simple - acquire the hugely overpriced DC adaptor and use a 12v nicad or lead acid pack to power that; OR (2) Inexpensive, efficient but complex - get a scope onto the Info pin of the AC adapter and see what it does to tell the camera it's on mains power. Then spoof that and build a 4v pack from scratch. *ducks and awaits scornful replies* |
