Wasabi FZ150 batteries - Smash or trash?
Wasabi Power - more internal capacity than the OEM pack - i.e. they should last longer before needing recharged again. I've heard it all works well with the camera.
Smash or trash on this kit?

G'day Dave

Sounds ok to me - esp from Amazon too
The bit about the batteries not yet being decoded may give you some angst as you will have no v/f indication of battery life remaining ~ but that was what we had in the early digicams anyway

If you want to double-check the reference, here's a link to my local aussie battery place that I deal with for my batteries ...

Regards, Phil

Ebay has it cheaper for $18. Take a look:

I find it interesting in looking for a spare battery for my Panasonic Lumix TS3 that Wasabi has a battery with 1400mAh where most of the other batteries on the market are 840 and 940mAh and also at half to 1/3 the price. Yes the cheapest price is from Amazon....... Its nice to find the cheaper costing battery has higher capacity and is sold through Amazon. If it was some fly by night company I might be worried, but since its Amazon I am gonna order one tonight myself.

I bought some wasabi batteries (BLS-5 for E-PL2) and charger. At first I was very pleased with them, but now after less than 6 months one of the batteries will not hold a charge. I have an email to the company that sells them on Amazon to see if they will replace it. Hoping it is just a random bad one as it has worked well otherwise. If they replace it I will have no complaints.

Just got a call from the amazon seller about the bad battery and they are going to ship me a new one for free (charged me for shipping).

Service like this certainly makes me more than happy to recommend these batteries to anyone!

I would not hesitate to buy them again.

My FZ50s batterys were beginning to slow down so, I decided to get a couple of new ones, Panasonic ones were $100, no way was I going to pay that price, so got a couple from Battsrus for $12 each, problem was although they looked identical to the original they were slightly larger and would not fit, I took a few thousandths of an inch off with sandpaper until they slotted in, I have not used the camera with them yet, but they appear to be O K. Made in China by Cameron Sino.
