2 tips about batteryholders.

1. How to make a batteryholder from a piece of elastic webbing.

2. Charge indicator - print, cut out and tape on battery holders / cases.

Thanks a lot!!!

Really cool ideas. You start to wonder why manufacturers do not think that creatively.

Benny,

Good idea. I was thinking of doing the same a while ago but just with a pen and tape but I've got my own system of putting the cells backwards in thr holder so I know they're used but with a label if makes working withother people easier as you don't have any (hopefully) snags as the other person can see the instructions of charged/discharged.

Useful only if ALL the batteries in the case are discharged, but not very useful if some are charged. Do you change batteries in the dark very often?

Anyway, seems to work for me. If anyone else along with on a photo-trek needs to grab some to borrow, then I just tell them how I arrange them so they know which ones to grab, and how to return them when discharged. If they borrow without asking and grab a holder full of discharged, then that's their problem. (Hey, come to think of it, my system even has the added advantage of an anti-borrow deterrent built-in. )
I prefer to rub the cases with jalepeno pepper oils.:GMake sure you use use latex gloves when handling it. Hehe...

Hate it when people borrow without asking.
