There's a long forum about this charger over at candlepowerforums.com.

Numerous folks, myself included, have pre-ordered it from Thomas-Distributing. Based on the description, specs, and Maha's history with NiMH chargers, it should be one great charger!

Thanks you to inform me on this new forum web, I will read it later, I also own an a Maha C-401F, as still owning a few Ni-Cd batteries, & this C-401F...I think is the "Last/Later" charger that can charge Ni-Cd batteries...tomorrow I will sent the money to Eugene at Thomas-Distribution, for own this new & from I read super smart charger...of course my ald's Ni-Cd batteries will be charge with my first Maha charger.

As I live in Israel, the sipment/handling issue. will cost me near the price of the charger...they only send by FedEx International, carriers...what I can do???

Folks, be 100% sure that I will inform to all of you my own test on it

Peace,

There are only specs so far. Maha make very good chargers and this charger is up there with the best by specs. But we will need to wait unitl it is released before we will get any indepenedent assessment.

Hello Folks,

Yesterday I received my LaCrosse BC-900U charger, instead the maha MH-C9000 that I want at the beginning..., as seems me that ONLY will be released to the market in January 2007.

So the Maha don't touch on to me more!

Here are some photos of my received BC-900U Firmware 33 charger. For better & safe ventilation this is my "Cost Free" method

Latest update on the MH-C9000 from Thomas Distributing

Our original expected date was about Dec 10th.This date was a rough estimate considering the uncertainness of shipping times during the Holiday season..
We now have more information concerning shipping dates, and are expecting our shipment of the first MH-C9000 chargers within the next 8 to 12 days.
Again this will depend on the how well the shipping goes and how long it takes for the first shipment to clear US Customs. We should have a more definite date within the next few days. We will keep our site posted so as to keep you up to date.

Dear Steve,

My "Common Sense" tell me that it's not 100% true:P

As I wrote directly to the Sales Dept of Maha & this is what I received back!

Dear Alex:

Many thanks for your support all the time. The New C9000 charger and
analyzer will be available in the end of this month. Please check our
website at http://www.mahaenergy.com
and see if it is available. Thanks & Best regards.

James
Maha Energy Corp.

So I think that for sure next 2007 year January the charger will be released for sale
So I can't believe that "TD"...will received as you wrote earlier...they (TD), MUST get the goods directly from Maha energy...as THEY are the real importers of their products & NOT "TD".:?

Have a nice Holidays, & a prosperous new 2007 year!

Peace,

Alex 007:|
