I'm about to purchase a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight flash, and of course I want some killer batteries to go with it. Which batteries would be my best bet?

The Sanyo Eneloop or Industrial series? One thing to be mentioned, there might be times where I don't use the flash for a couple weeks. Which can I trust to have the most capacity when I need it?

Hello Tweek,

I would go with the Eneloop cells.

The charger is nothing to write home about, but it does work. Not the fastest, but should do a good job.

Eneloops are the best rechargeable low self discharge AA batteries. Another advantage is that they are excellent at supplying short bursts of heavy current, better than normal NiMh batteries, so are ideal for a flashgun.
