Are generic LI-42B's safe to use in my Olympus FE-190? I was recently looking to buy a spare battery, and have noticed that some sellers say a person should stick with original Olypus brand batteries to avoid damage to the camera.

Can a camera be damaged by a generic?

I'd like to get the generic as it's waaaay cheaper (duhhh!) and it actually has a higer mAh rating. If there is a risk of damage though, i'll pass.

Thanks in advance
