I'm planning to make an external battery pack to power my W30 through the DCIN.
Here is a picture of how the DCIN jack looks:

I was able to find an "adaptaplug" that fits into the W30 here:

I'm still waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I noticed that a number of Sony cameras share the same adapter as the W30 (AC-LS5K), so this question should apply to these as well:
DSC-H2, DSC-H5, DSC-P200, DSC-S60, DSC-S90, DSC-T7, DSC-W5, and DSC-W7....

Does anyone know if the orientation of the adaptaplug matters?

The only thing I could find the the Sony manual was "This set may be equipped with a polarized ac power cord plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other)."

Edit: The battery is marked as + c -, does that mean the DCIN would be - c +?
