Default Maha MH-C401FS Charger Question

Hi,

I allready order a MH-C401FS charger and 8 additional 2200 mah NiMh batteries.

At the spesifications, the Rapid Charge Current: 1000mA (AA), 500mA (AAA)
Is it possible to fully charge the 2200 mah batteries in 100 minutes with 1000 mA.
Because the Charge time Calculator calculates 2,6 hours.....
Microprosessor cuts after 100 minutes.....
Is there someting wrong????????????????

I have the Maha 401 FS and the Maha Powerex 2200's. The first charge took just under two hours (on fast charge) and now if I use the fast charge (I usually just use the slower feature) it takes anywhere from 50 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
It is nice to have the slower feature as it is easier on the batteries, they only get a little warm when charging slower. On the fast mode they get much warmer but not HOT.
By the way, these are the BEST AA nimh batteries I have used to date with my Minolta D7i.

Good Day,
Steven

P.S.
Charged up the Maha 2200's in the 401FS last night. These were drained extremely low: time on fast charge: 1 hour and 50 minutes.
