Purchased 8 (2 paks of 4) of the Ray-O-Vac AA Hybrids a few days ago @ wal Mart. They were $8.97 for 4. I put 4 in my new Canon S5 right out of the package and the camera lit right up. I going to get out this weekend for some photo hunting. We'll see how long they last.

Consider picking up some eneloop cells and compare them to your new Hybirds. I have both and prefer the eneloop cells because of theirlower self discharge and better performance under voltage.

Actually I was looking for the Eneloops when I saw the Rayovacs. Neither Wal Mart nor Best Buy had them. They're on my eShopping list...

If you have a HHGregg near you, they have great prices on eneloop cells.

Hi,

I use have been using Rayovac Hybrids on my PEntax DSLR.
They work great for me. Over a Thousand Pics per charge.
I have stopped using ,yEnergizers and Duracell AAs. Compared to the performance of the Rayovac Hybrids, they suck.
