Default Monster NiMH AA batteries-2850mAh??

http://www.monstercable.com/powercel...l.asp?pin=1559

Has anyone heard of these super power capacity batteries before?

2850mAh...can that be a true statement? That is a lot of power pack into a single AA battery. And the prices are reasonable. A four pack for $4.95, eight pack for $7.95 and 20 pack for $17.95.

Has anyone tried these batteries to see if they live up to their claim?

Sorry if this is a repost.

It's a repost ... They are a one-time use, not NiMh and available @ Best Buy:

"When it sounds too good to be true..." Thanks for the answer. It was too good to be true.

BTW ... 2850mAh may sound good, but for an Alkaline rating it's really not out of this world. It may outlast other Alkaline when used in a digicam, but compared to a 2100mAh NiMh: The NiMh will outlast it (depending on where the minimum cut-off voltage of the camera is).

Try it!
