Hello,
After reading everyones thoughts around here iot seems that the MH C9000 is the clear winner which ive decided that i want to go with this solution. BUT, after checking out local retailers i cant find this product anywhere. So my question is; is it really worth it ordering it from their website (paying the currency difference) or would it jut be fine and head over to my local retailers and grab one of the big names meaning an Energizer/Duracell equivlent? It seems that this is the only brands that people want to carry around here... Sony, Energizer, Panasonic, Duracell.

Can any of you suggest one of those or another product instead, or, maybe direct me on where i can find a CDN retailer that sells MAHA products?

Thanks for everyones time!
FP

This is for my Olympus SP 570UZ. :|

IMO, it's well worth it. I highly recommend purchasing the C9000 online. It will be money well spent. Look to Thomas-Distributing and see what they can do on shipping to Canada. Newegg.com also sells the C9000 but I'm not sure what the shipping would be.

It's a much better charger than the models at local retail outlets.

Excellent... thanks for the heads up. Last note, which batteries would you suggest as well? Or is that pretty much a personal thing seeing that it sometimes varies.

Again thanks for your time!

I would suggest 2 types: Sanyo eneloop (2000 mAh)and/or Maha Powerex 2700 mAh AA cells.

I keep eneloops in my cameras when they're sitting for "Grab and Go" purposes.

When I'm traveling and/or taking lots of photos, I use the Powerex Cells. I've found that the Powerex cells hold their charge very well, have a relatively low self-discharge rate, and I get over 2700 mAh in capacity with them.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah, i actually went ahead and ordered the c9000 along with the Powerex 2700's from Maha's website. Unfortuantely this is the only place outside Canada that have stock which are willing to ship to Canada. Oh well... i guess its worth it.

Again, thanks for all of your help!!
