Default C- and D-cell AA adapters

This isn't automatically relevant to camera users, but....

I have numerous high-capacity AA Ni-MH cells which are largely redundant, since my three principal cameras use Li-ion rechargeables. My family still need them, but recharging the AAs requires excessive self-discipline on their part, and I've realised I'm better kitting out the family, regrettably, with throwaway Li AAs, which will last them a long time. So I have lots of little-used AA rechargeables.

This morning I discovered to my delight in a 'Poundland' store, (where every item costs 1 ukpound, c.US$1.50) C-cell and D-cell adapters for AA batteries, for a pound each. I own a set of four C and two D cell Ni-MH rechargeables, which were horribly expensive, and contain, I believe, an AA cell inside a dummy outer casing. Several of them are ailing. I use them in my bedside radio and various flashlights.

Now, at last, I can make good use of my redundant AA rechargeables.
