Default AA Battery Charger

I have one Duracell 4 cell AAA or AA battery charger at the moment (CEF14N with output of 5,6V DC 360mA for 4AA NiMH). I just ordered the Fuji HS10 which uses AA batteries. I'd like to get a charger that can charge 8AAs either 2700Mha nickle metal hydride or Eneloops.

Any suggestions? Both unit and a place to buy it from

Budget $50 put can go higher if convinced its the right thing to buy

Hoping to be able to charge 8 AAs in about 5 hours time. I am high volume shooter and need to be able to get at 8AAs charged while sleeping at night and sometimes during an afternoon while I use other sets of batteries

At the time I have 8x 2700Mha Impact brand MiMH AAs and 8x Sanyo Eneloop 2000mAh. I may get 4 or 8 more Eneloops down the road.

Dave you might want to follow the other battery charger thread in this folder-

The only charger capable of charging 8 AA cells individually is the Maha Charger available from Thomas Distributing.

It's a good idea to BUY TWO BC700/BC900 - best for low price you can find.

2x $ 29.90 :-)

Very important: SINGLE LOAD SLOTS - otherwise your batteries with time will go over Jordan!

I think above 8-battery charger does NOT single load!

ya the above charger does single load it will do each cell on its own...thats why i got it... and it takes 3 to 5 hours to charge also..its not rappid like my energizer....its been a good charger for me so far...and the ultra batt's that came with it are also pretty good..

Thanks for the excellent suggestion, kirby-

After some investigation I also ordered this charger as well. It looks to be a quality charger and charges each cell individually and now has a 3 year guarantee. Thank you very much for the link and the suggestion.

Not true. I'm sitting here with a Rayovac 3inone. That charges 8.

That is exactly what I learned with some research as well, Gary.

And that is why I ordered the Ultra Last charger for 8 AA batteries that Kirby recommended which is quite a good deal less expensive than the Maha charger. Thanks for the additional confirmation.
