Default Chargers and Batteries question

I have an Energizer NiMH, NiCd battery charger, and I'd like use it to charge a different kind of rechargeable brand battery (iPower "9V"260 mAH NiMH). Is it ok to do so?? Or, do I have to buy the the same brand name charger??

If your battery charger has a slot for the "9v" nimh battery, then it is alright to charger different brand batteries.
For instance you could use your Energizer charger to charge Sanyo's and Maha Powerex nimh AA batteries.
Each company may do something in the making of their batteries that are of better or inferior quality, but the nimh AA is still a nimh battery make-up.
Only if it states in specific terms "Danger", it would be alright. Sometimes the maker of one brand will state you should use their batteries (or chargers), but that is more of a marketing pitch.

Good Day,
Steven
