Hi All:

I received a Maha Nimh powerpack with the step-down cable. This connection is supposed to work with the Fuji S7000 in the camera's 5-volt DC-in outlet. After charging the powerpack for 4 hours as recommended by Maha, I attached it to the camera.

However, no matter what I did, the camera did not work!!! Even after checking the polarity and trying the camera with placing the adapter cable either way to see which would work, nothing worked.

The camera works fine on batteries, but I had hoped this power pack would be there to assist me when being out in the field for long streches and not have to load 4 AA batteries while shooting.

Just hope I did not get something that can't work with this camera and/or I did not damage the camera in any way.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
