Default DPS 9000 NG for 7i, what options are there?

I just spoke with Digipower and comfirmed the DPS 9000 is officialy not compatable with the 7i, what other options are there? I seem to spit out batteries every few shots. We're planning on taking this on vacation, 2 weeks on a boat (a 43' not a cruise), and will only have generator power, probally not the best for charging batteries.

How about Padeye suggestion:

I believe they sell 12V charger for theses RC battery packs to race in the parking lots (or in the fields)

BTW the DPS 9000 will work with the D7(i) if you never turn the LCD on!

Default Disclaimer

So far one other user and I have had good luck with the RC car packs but be warned the voltage is pretty high, about 8.4v, when they come off the charger. I'm not aware that this is a problem but can't say for certain that it will not do any damage to the camera long term.
