I just ordered a DSC-V1, and the company called me (and stalled my order...grrr) to ask if I'd like to buy a second battery for $39 "because the battery that ships with the camera only lasts 35min." While I don't believe that statement (the reviews mention sub-par battery time but never say 35min), I looked on eBay and found many generic batteries that claim to be for the DSC-V1. The camera specs say that it takes an "NP-FC11," but eBayers are selling a generic "NP-FC10" that they say works in the DSC-V1. The cost is minimal ($16 shipped) for the FC10, but it is $20 or so more expensive for the FC11. Will either work? Is the FC11 just a better battery? Thanks!

Both will works.

the only difference is FC11 is around 10% more power than FC10,

therefore, just goes for the cheaper is OK.
