Mabey a stupid question,if it is I am sorry in advance. But I just bought some energizer batteries,2100 rechargeables, and did not notice they were 1.2 volts untill I got home. My Olympus takes 6 volts to operate. Was just wondering before I opened these batterys if 4 1.2volt batterys will work.

No problem, they'll work just fine. NiMH batteries can only generate 1.2v per cell versus the 1.5v of alkaline. They produce more current and that's more important than the output voltage. Most devices are rated as 4.8 - 6V that use 4 AA cells.
