Hi guys,

After reading countless super reviews on Sanyo NiMH batts, I've decided to get some of my own. But currently there are 2 gd Sanyo chargers to choose from (Not considering Maha cos too ex)

The NC-MQH01-UEX-SS is a super quick charger (70min 2 batts), but one without the trickle charge function (pls correct me if Im wrong).

The NC-MQR03-UEX-SS charges slower (115min 2 batts) but boasts the trickle charge, and also the refresh function. But I've read somewhere that NiMH batts do not have 'memory effect', thus rendering the refresh function useless.

Need some advice on those that know more about this. Thx guys!

Hi, I can't give you any advice on those two chargers you mentioned, but I have Sanyo NC-MQR02U 5 hour charger and I am not very happy with it. Batteries loose power when not in use /2-3 weeks / and when in my camera they manage only 60 - 80 pictures with LCD on and downloading. If I were you, I would spend more money and go for Maha. It's just my opinion.

It may not be the battery's fault. For example. With my Energizer 2100 battery, if I use it immediately after charging, I get to shot ~130 pictures (40% with flash) with my Nikon 3100. But if the battery had been left for over a week, I can only manage ~30 pics.

I think most people would recommend you use FRESHLY charged battery for that reason.
