Just a question about the battery pack that came with my Drebel. Does it lesson the life of the battery if you dont run it right down flat before recharging? I noticed my old video camera batteries lost life from doing this.

Hello Alady, greetings from NZ..I'm not familiar with the batteries your Drebel uses. Mostly only NiCad batteries require to be discharged first, to avoid the 'memory effect'

Your camera is unlikely to use those. If the battery is a NiMH or Lithium type, then there is no problem. AFAIK, they can be charged, or topped up any time.

Try a google search for the type of batteries you use for more information.

Regards.
