Default Does The Nikon EN-EL2 Battery have a "memory"?

I was wondering if that type of battery has a "memory" like the ni-cads do. Do I have to run them down and recharge them again like nicads, or can I top them off before I put them in my camera like I do now do with nickel metal hydride batterys in my other camera?
I could not find this information on this battery, perhaps that battery is too new.
Thanks.

You dont have to run them down. You can charge them as you like. No problem. I've read somewhere, that you can do this about 1000 times.

The Nikon EN-EL1 is a lithium polymer battery pack, it does not have a "memory" problem. It can be recharged any time without shortening the lifespan.

Thanks Steve,
My battery is the Nikon EN-EL2, not the EN-EL1, but I think the only differance is the mah capacity, mine is 1000mah.
