I'm getting a new Canon A95 Camera. I've been looking for Battery Recharger and am thinking of either the RipVan/Lightning Pack 4000N or the Maha/PowerEx C-204W. Does anyone have any experience, suggestions, comments? Thanks

I havn't used neighter. From what I've heard the Lightning Pack is a good charger gentle to the cells and fairly compact. It's only disadvantage to me is that it doesn't charge each cell separately, i.e. it charges in pairs.

I use Lenmar Mach1 Gamma. It charges high capacity NiMH cells (2100-2300 mAh) in about 70-80 min while keeping them cool, just above room temperature. It also has 4 independant charging slots. Not as compact as the Lightning Pack (separate power supply) but makes up with faster charging.

Check out Steve's reviews on these chargers.
