Could anyone help with the questions that I've posted?

1. Will there be any problem in charging NiMH batteries from a charger of different maker? Eg: Charging Sony batteries in Duracell charger?

2. Will there be any problem if thesame chargeris used tocharge batteries with different mAh?

Thanks,

BJ

Hi there,

Yup, you will be able to charge batteries in a different branded charger.

Most chargers have to charge batteries in pairs. This means that you will have to put two NiMH batteries in at once to charge them. You should only charge same capacity and brands together, because if they're different then the charger can undercharge or overcharge your batteries.

Other chargers such as the Maha C401-FS will charge each battery individually. This means you can put any batteries in and it won't matter about the brand or capacity. You don't have to charge them in pairs as well.

Hope this helped.

Cheers,
Kim.
