I hope this is not a dumb question,is it ok to leave a battery charger plugged in 24/7 even with out a battery in it ? :?::

This is usually fine, although there is aslight chance thatsome chargers might need to be reset (unplugged then plugged back in) before being used after a long period of time.

Like anything else with a power supply, I always check for heat when leaving things like these on for the first time.

Not sure if the fans in the chargers with cooling fans stay on or are thermostat controlled though. If the fans do stay on, this could add wear to them of course. I'll let someone else answer that.

I leave my charger plugged in around the clock :-)
