I see the advice to get rechargeable nimh batteries but the ones I got with my Z5 that are disposable were 1.5v where as the new batteries i have are 1.25v is this normal or should i look for 1.5v ones?

Sorry very basic I know but i need a bit of guidance

Alkaline AA Batteries are 1.5 Volts. NiMH AA Batteries are 1.2 Volts. This is normal, and most modern digital cameras are designed to work with the voltage NiMH batteries provide. You do want to make sure you're using batteries with a higher mAh rating for maximumuse between charges.
