I'm going to Iceland for two weeks and the power up there is not the same as here in the US. Is it going to kill my charger and battery if I use a converter to plug in my nikon charger? I have a D100 Nikon and the EN-EL3 battery with the Nikon MH-18 quick charger. If anybody has been through this I sure could use some advice.

Thanks, Ronnie

If your charger is of the new type ( transformerless e.g 110 to 240 volts) you are OK

PS I spent 12 months in Iceland during the war. The Yanks there called it the Rock. I think it has improved somewhat now.
